On May 1, 2010 the carbon-neutral BushwhackerTeam went high-tech when professional videographer Steve Dexter
filmed a movie of their Third Annual Green Birdathon. The editing was completed last month and the resulting
13-minute video documents the highlights of that day. We hope you enjoy it!

Special Event Saturday, April 30, 2011: Annual GREEN Carbon-Neutral Birdathon!

This year, the Chapter is going to find out how many birds can be seen just in the South Bay on a spring day (mostly in the
PV Christmas Count circle)! Volunteers plan to cover 30 or 40 miles by bike and even more by foot. Please pledge your
support via e-mail to Martin Byhower (avitropic@sbcglobal.net). All funds will help the PV/SB Audubon support its Youth
Environmental Service (YES!) program and other valuable programs. See the cover story in the April/May Hummin' for
additional details.
